Izaliens
Six cousins.
One legacy.
"Everyone says our past matters. We're just trying to figure out who we are."
Six cousins from a legendary lineage who'd honestly rather just be normal teens. Instead, they're constantly pulled into strange traditions, old rivalries, and unexpected adventures tied to a heritage they barely understand — but can't fully escape.
Between jokes, arguments, and chaotic plans, they learn how to work together in a world full of opinions, pressure, and competing ideas.
Reo
Calm and observant, Reo senses what others feel before they say it. He leads through empathy, reflection, and quiet understanding — reminding his friends that insight and compassion can be powerful in a noisy world. Torn between the peace he wants to protect and the rebellion he might need to join.
"I'd rather understand someone than win an argument with them."
But the argument coming for him isn't one empathy can solve.
Kae
Kae notices everything. A sharp thinker with a dry wit, he's drawn to hidden truths and forgotten stories. He keeps secret records of the original Izalien Codex — and plays both sides for the thrill. Learning when that game has real consequences.
"I don't pick sides. I just know where all the exits are."
The problem with playing both sides is eventually you have to choose one.
Tarn
Strong, loyal, and protective, Tarn believes power should defend others — not dominate them. His confidence sometimes gets him into trouble, but his heart is solid. He hides a secret weakness, and is learning that true strength includes humility.
"I don't need help. I just need everyone to stop noticing that I do."
He's the strongest one in the room — until the thing he's hiding walks in.
Jynni
Jynni believes connection beats confrontation. She brings people together through listening, humor, and shared space. She's known for calming tense situations — but what she really wants is to tear down her House's rigid rulebook from the inside.
"I can talk anyone down from anything. Except maybe myself."
She's spent her whole life keeping the peace. She's done keeping it for her House.
Vekka
Vekka values truth over comfort. Disciplined and razor-sharp, she holds herself and others accountable — even when it hurts. Haunted by her House's surveillance legacy, she's learning whether justice can make room for mercy without losing its edge.
"Rules exist for a reason. I just want to know whose reason."
She built herself around justice. She's starting to find cracks in the foundation.
Zho
Zho believes mistakes are the beginning, not the end. Quietly intense and deeply compassionate, she helps others find hope after failure. The wildcard no one can control — her presence sparks revival movements among lost youth wherever she goes.
"Everyone's got a version of me they've already written off. I find that useful."
She's the wildcard. She's also the one who might hold all of them together — if she doesn't burn it down first.
